"Camp Out" at St. Andrews

Brody attends St. Andrew's preschool 2 days a week and he loves it (for the most part). On Friday they hosted a "camp-out". Brody got to buy and bring brand new PJ's and his sleeping bag for the 2 hour event. It was a little chilly so the school set up the tents in a large classroom. Mike and I went out to dinner with the 2 hours of free-time we had. We snuck back to the school a little early so we could spy on the festivities. When we arrived the kids were all in their PJ's and sitting in a circle listening to a book reader. Brod had a cup of milk and a bag a camping snack food (M & M's and chex mix. As soon as we walked in to get him he was so excited and telling us all the fun he had. A substiture teacher walked up to us and commented on how adorable he was and so well bahaved (made my mommy heart happy). He is such a sweetheart and adjusting to life as a "big-boy" as he says very well!
A few of Brod's favirot things are Trash Trucks, garbage cans and trash...basically anything Waste Management might see on a daily basis. He knows all the different kinds of trash turcks (side loaders, back loaders and the different kinds of trash cans- regular and recycle). Our recrycle trash can is Brod's fav! It is just his size and he calls it the baby trash can. We have "trash talk" on a daily basis with Brody, his love for trash trucks and cans is a love that no other little boy has I am sure.

Donuts at school with dad...

Today was donuts with dad day at school. Mike snapped a few pics of our adorable boy while he was enjoying his donuts.
Brody just had his fall review in class and his teacher said he was so doing excellent. He received 1's (which are the best) in almost everything from knowing his alphabet to knowing his colrs and shapes. He is very shy at school (very diffrent from how he is at home). His teacher stated that she never has a problem with him, he hels clean up when asked and plays nicely with others. He has a sweet caring nature about him. She mentioned that there are some very "active kids" in the class which my husband saw first hand today, except he used the word "brats". Mike called me after leaving and said what a wonderful boy Brody is at school. While the other kids are pushing and running around Brody acts like a little angel. Even when a kid came up and grabbed a ball from him, Mike said he just picked up something else to play with instead of grabbing it back. We are so lucky to have such a well behaved, adorable little guy. I am so proud of him.

ABC's and more...

My computer is being difficult so I am having difficulties uploading pictures of the cutest little guy in America. However, I had to blog about how smart he is!! Brody is excelling in just about everything possible. Here are a few examples of how spectacular he really is: He can sing his entire alphabet as well as name the appropriate letter when pointed to in a book or on his spelling blocks. He has capital letters down pat, he has no question on any of the letters from A-Z, he gets a littel puzzled on lower case but 9 times out of 10 he figures out the correct letter with little thought. He can spell his name and tell you all of the family members proper names (aside from the nick names he has given everyone.) He can put together small and large puzzles, some even ranging in the age group of 5-6 years all by himself. Puzzles of 24 pieces or less are no challange at all for Brody, he can whip them to gather in a matter of minutes with the right amount of concentration. He is so sweet and such a snuggler. He tells both Mike and I on a daily basis "I love you" where of course we respond "I love you more" and then he always ends it with " I love you mostest"...melts my heart. I am so amazed to see his growth in the past 2 and half years and so proud of him. He is truly the apple of our eye!

Fun with ponies part 1...

One of the attorneys I work with had taken her four year old little boy to a local pony ranch and said he had a blast so of course we had to take our sweet little Brody. The ranch has 26 mini horses and several ponies, also some chickens, ducks, dogs, a pig and of course donkeys and mules...oh yeah and goats (which Brody really liked!!). With me being a horse lover and riding a huge part of my life I loved every minute of it also. We are thinking of having Brody's first official birthday party at the ranch so all his friends can have a fun day riding ponies and plating with animals.

Brody and Pony "Bob", he was perfect size for Brod to play with...

Brody Beibs sings for cousin Logan!

This is literally Brody's favorite song, and as hard as this is to admit...I have a bit of beiber fever myself. Brody loves to entertain people and does quite a good job doing so when he sings this song. Brody's cousin Logan loves to watch videos and pictures that we post from Arizona so hopefully Logan loves cousin Brody's version of Justins Beib's Baby, baby, baby!
